I think you are me! First gray hair that I recall was when I was 14 or 15, but it just introduced me to the wonderful world of hair dye. Natural hair was brown; I dyed it a blue-black for years, then slowly went lighter. I stayed with a purple-ish shade for a while, but right now I have red hair. The theory was one day I should make my way towards some shade of blonde so my roots don't show as much, but I do love the red.

Have you dyed your hair a lot of different colors, or just stuck close to your natural color?
