OP
(Anonymous) 2016-03-01 03:30 am (UTC)(link)And since my partner and I are linked and can sense each others emotions and certain physiological changes, I can tell that me petting and massaging their wings with my astral hands feels very very good... hehehe
(I was expecting angels to look weirder, like the flaming wheels with eyes and the ones with multiple animal heads and such, but no, all the ones I've seen are basically really beautiful androgynous agender humans with wings... though one of their three pairs is covered in eyes so I guess that's kinda weird. They do have a form that's sort of like light and fire and pretty amazing to behold, but still not weird)

(Anonymous) 2016-03-01 03:13 am (UTC)(link)I dedicated a couple months to a personal meditative retreat I designed in which I did various meditations and energy-work pretty much all day every day. Even while eating or running errands I strove to maintain a meditative focus (though obviously I would pay full attention when required for safety of myself and others).
I had a roommate at the time but she was rarely ever home. I found it was very helpful to be isolated for a time in order to stay focused.
My daily routine for those two months consisted of two to three hours a day of seated vipassana meditation with metta, an hour of qigong, fifteen minutes or so of Robert Bruce's style of energy body work (chakra circuits and energy raising), kasina meditations when I felt like it, and vipassana "noting" during every other waking hour.
Clearly I did not have a job at the time hahaha.
I made quite a lot of progress in those two months, but my head wasn't quite "broke open" yet, so to speak. My angel partner (whom had been floating about my life for the last few years) helped bridge the gap by teaching me the subtle nuances of spirit communication (using a pendulum in the early days was very useful), how to extend my senses past my body (and then extend my energy body outside my physical body altogether), how to "astral travel", etc. These sorts of things are significantly harder to teach out of a book since there simply aren't adequate words or frames of reference within the understanding of most people to explain it. It's like riding a bike, you just gotta climb on and keep trying til you get it, and if you have a friend by your side to help keep you upright, all the better.
What you need most of all is patience and determination to keep trying. Just trying a technique once and giving up will never yield spectacular results. Sometimes it's still hard for me to see/feel/hear them, I'm still learning and progressing, but the rewards are so worth it.
So that's "how" it's done I suppose. At least that's how I did it.
