(to be fair, I probably wouldn't have gotten into it if not for Marathon)

Plus, hey, fun.

(Anonymous) 2016-03-01 12:53 am (UTC)(link)I was judgmental-ish as a teen because of upbringing, then cooled down when I actually met some people who were LGBT and understood it more. Then around the time I was 18-19 I started having fantasies myself and now- welp.

(Anonymous) 2016-03-01 12:59 am (UTC)(link)Mainly because bleh browser game, but also because I thought it was the same as those "clickable" things, which I remain judgey of mostly because they spam up all the forums I frequent and I don't get the appeal. Flight Rising, though, is fun!

(Anonymous) 2016-03-01 01:25 am (UTC)(link)I also used to think slash was so popular because fandom was sexist and just wanted to get women out of the way. I'd only ever shipped het pairings at that point in time, so I kind of didn't know what I was talking about. Now, fandom being sexist is way down my list of reasons why slash is popular. Not saying it's never a factor, but I think there are some other totally valid reasons that are a lot more predominant.
