Re: Canon pairings you like most - or many - people don't

Sounds like you saw the best of it. Seasons 1-2 were really the show's peak.

S3 is up on kisscartoon, a lot of it feels like filler or an OOC mess, a few eps that rehash morals already covered. Personally I'd say the one that is worth anything is D-Stablized because it's the one ep that feels like season 2 and everyone's in character. (The person who wrote that ep is Amy Keating Rogers, as an MLP fan I found that rather cool)

I might check it out because I like DP. I saw D-Stabilized because as a kid I loved child sidekicks and DANI MUST SEE ALL DANI THINGS.

Ahh!! Another person who likes her! (She's the one I named my new account for)

Personally I loved that she was a clone but not mindless. It was the whole clone subplot pulled off surprisingly deep and mature at least in my opinion.

Like, I loved her from the start and I was kinda bummed when it felt like a lot of fandom didn't want to give her a chance.

She's still one of my faves to write fanfic for because there's so much possibility there. Honestly, and this probably sounds evil of me, I like to write fic that explores the fallout of her relationship with Vlad and how she deals with that. Not to mention her developing her own identity as she grows up, and becoming her own person.

As a kid I always loved the characters everyone else hated, probably because they were the 'brat kid sister/brother' types and as a little kid in a world of adults, I identified with that so hard.

Her relationship with Vlad is really interesting to think about. I've seen fic where he resents her and fic where he regrets not being involved in her life.
