Actually, not always. Ice water will hydrate you faster if you need it.

It can shock your system though, especially if you're body is very hot.

Sipping is key.

its still not practical to drink iced water if you've say, been working out doors in the summer. So your fave beverage is flawed.

I'm drinking it, not jumping headfirst into it.

But drinking cold water when you're hot will only make you hotter.
