Lamb

(Anonymous) 2016-03-01 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
I have a small amount (~1 serving) of cubed lamb in my freezer leftover from a recipie. What's somethibg I can cook with it? (1 person meal.) I don't know ways to prepare it.

I'd do a sort of shwarma-inspired marinade- spice mix (fenugreek, cumin, allspice, S&P, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger + dash cloves and cardamom), minced garlic, lemon juice, vinegar. Marinade your lamb for 12-24 hours. Make a tahini sauce- tahini, lemon juice, garlic, yogurt, dash of salt and sugar or honey.

Grill your marinaded lamb; if you don't have a grill or grill pan, pop it under the broiler (think of it as an upsidedown grill) but DO NOT OVER COOK IT.

Serve your lamb in pitas with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, thin sliced onions and lots of tahini sauce.
