As someone on the spectrum I hate when people talk about it because inevitably assholes come in to make comments about how either autistic people are all idiots, or subhuman, or burdens to everyone.

I just want to be treated like a person. Not pitied, not mocked, not have people saying I'm inspirational for doing regular things. Just a person.
