Could have gone without seeing the word "moist" today. Or ever.

I get that that's a pretty common word squick, but I've never understood it. Is it the association with food or something?

It's not the food association for me. It makes me think of damp concrete and old bathrooms.

Interesting. I can see that making things much less appealing.

"Dank" and "mildew" bring those things up for me.

"Moist" is such a Betty Crocker word imo, it makes me think of cake and fudgey brownies. :D

If it helps, I don't get it either. It's not the best word but it's not horrific either.

ngl I could do with more people mentioning Moist. He's one of my favourite fictional characters ever.

(Anonymous) 2016-03-06 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
He's pretty cool!

I could deal without people being whiny babies about the word moist. Moist cake is delicious. As are moist pussies. Mmmm Moist.

"Moist" and "panties" seem to be such commonly hated words that I feel like the poster chose them on purpose because they knew it would squick someone out.

No one fucking cares, Blitzwing.

I care, nonny, and that's what's important.

(And I'm touched that you care enough to respond to my comment, even though the content isn't pleasing to you.)
