(Anonymous) 2016-03-05 10:27 pm (UTC)(link)The right for someone to be cruel or antagonize does not supersede the right for everyone else to have a good time.

(Anonymous) 2016-03-05 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)And honestly? If someone doesn't want to read something they can make the choice not to read it. There are a bunch of ideas I've thought would be no good or a disaster that have folded out well.
No one likes to think their critique (and this I wouldn't even call as such) is cruel. But it is. It's also selfish. Because you know what, there are people who would be interested in an idea, and shooting the person who wants to read it because you and your clique of friends aren't, is really downright selfish.
A lot of people in this generation of fandoms (and the internet) need to get over themselves and learn that they're not entitled to the internet catering to them when they say they don't like a thing. Congrats, you don't like an idea. Claiming that your and your friends' input is the fandom's feedback is delusionally self absorbed.
There's no reason someone can't write something as long as they tag and summarize it accurately. It is allowed to exist on the internet.
