I think this is more about OP being naive on what constitutes shipping rather than OP taking a shit all over people. And really it's kind of understandable naivete since so much of shipping does seem to be about sex.

Yeah, that's how I interpreted it. I think they're just misinformed about the definition of shipping rather than being anti-non-sexual relationships or something.
