Yeah, that's my problem. And, I know that I was in the wrong completely yet I'm still so bitter. I wish I could just forget about it and move on.

Just because someone had their feelings hurt, it doesn't mean you were in the wrong.

I've accidentally triggered someone before, and I still feel bitter towards them because I don't think the wrath and public humiliation they put me through was proportional to the crime. So I get where you're coming from. It's hard not to get cynical when you've been in that kind of situation. I find myself caring less about people's feelings now than I did before.

You weren't in the wrong. Maybe it would have been smarter not to fight with them, but your post was fine. And I empathize. I have a hard time letting things go too. It's hard to get closure online.
