Re: Safety for Freedom

There is a balance, and you can't have perfect safety and still have any freedom. So I think as a society we have to accept a certain amount of unsafety because freedom is important. But at the same time, we're never going to have perfect freedom, and we do have to give up some freedom to have some safety. It is a balancing act, though I tend to lean more towards wanting more freedom myself.
