Caryl fandom on Tumblr seems mostly cool with Richonne, I agree. There were a handful of complainers, but most were positive about it. It's mostly in message boards and the like where they got wanky about the whole thing. In retrospect, it's hilarious. When that Rick/Michonne promo art for Season 6B dropped and Richonne shippers got excited about it, some (not a lot, I don't think, and they were definitely not the only ones) Caryl shippers took to concern trolling, kindly (and not at all condescendingly!) reminding Richonne shippers that The Power That Be baited shippers all the time, that actors often lied to get their hopes up, and it never ever led to fan-favorite ships actually happening.

And then boom, Richonne hit, Gimple and company actually went there, it turned out Andrew Lincoln wasn't yanking everyone's chains the way Norman Reedus sometimes does, and then, well, you can guess what happened next.
