Re: Best TV/anime/whatever openings

For anime, I really like well-animated intros that aren't just still images of characters standing still with a breeze going through their hair.

I'd have to say Death Note's two anime intros (and endings) are some of the best openings. The songs, especially the first one, are really excellent and the animation is nuts. Really fast-paced and artistic.

The original Fullmetal Alchemist anime had some great openings, too. I think I downloaded all four songs, and the intros were really fun and well done. I liked the first two ending songs, wasn't a fan of the second two though.

Most recently, I just finished Noragami season 2, and I loved that opening (both animation and song). The season 1 song is probably one of my favorite anime songs though, really catchy and I love how the intro centers on the three main characters.

The original Full Metal Alchemist songs are some of my favorite songs! Mostly because I love all of the bands anyway and then found out they did the openings.

Naruto and Bleach has some good songs too. I love Asian Kung Fu Generation and I absolutely loved "Ichirin no Hana" by High and Mighty Color.
