You have a right to like what you like. If you're seeing a lot of that particular attitude ("genital preference is wrong") I'd consider making some changes to who you're following. I haven't seen any posts like that in forever--ever since I made a policy to not follow anyone under 18, to not follow anyone that identified as a feminist, SJ activist, SJW, or anti-SJW.

It makes Tumblr loaaaaaaads more palatable.

Yeah. I'll tolerate posts about actual issues, like the disabled not being able to get funding and stuff like that, but the moment it gets into trivial bullshit like how problematic a fictional character is, I'm outta there.

I really don't see most of the stuff people moan about Tumblr doing on my dash. Only when I put my elbow length gloves on and wade into the tags.

I just try to get my news on social issues from other sources. It eliminates a lot of the crap.

Honestly, I try to avoid them altogether. I believe in equal rights for everybody and I'll fight for them if needs be. But, urggghhh, do I not have the stomach for constant discussions about it.

Same here. It feels like you can't get on the internet anymore without having social justice issues shoved in your face and people telling you what you should think about them. It's exhausting.
