Incest shipping is one of the most tame things in SPN fandom and if that's the thing you judge, I can't imagine how you'll react at the worst corners of the fandom.

Ignoring the troll...

SPN was definitely my fandom gateway drug. I didn't get into it at the start (back when shipping was all I cared about) because the only real ship was an incest one. But, I ended up with a big incest kink after finally taking the plunge. I also had an aversion to RPF, but ended up reading a lot of J2 fics (they're basically original fic at this point). And so on, etc.

Not really upset by this.

I'm not a fan of Wincest (as I think their relationship is even more than brotherly, since Dean helped raise Sam), but that is one of the least objectionable parts of the fandom. So it is probably for the best that you never tried to be in it if you have such issues with incest.

I hope you think that way about mystery writers (all that murder! Kidnapping! Horrible, terrible things!), too. And horror writers.

I think the only writers who should be beholden to any moral standard are the ones intending to be published by religion-based publishers. Besides, I'm constantly referred to as "sweet" and "ladylike", but I have written some really disturbing stuff.
