I never really got into 8 out 10 cats, but I LOVE QI and GBBO. A mashup b/w them would be pretty fun. I'd watch the hell out of it anyway.

I wanted to like 8 Out of 10 Cats, but I just couldn't get into it either.

I like the earnestness of the regular people on GBBO. I don't know the cats show, but on QI the guests are just trying to get a laugh most of the time?
I'd probably still watch it though, just to see how Alan Carr does.

Well, they've had comedians on the bake off for charity relief specials and while they're still trying to be funny, they're also really, seriously trying to bake. It's just that they're usually not very good at it. Which is the entertaining part, IMO...

I like 8 out of 10 cats better than Cats does Countdown (I think perhaps they've done it too much) but I would love to watch Sean and Jon bake. Not sure I'd care to watch them on QI, though.

That would be a fun crossover.

I want to see Stephen Fry make complicated cakes and things and screw them up and mutter, "oh, cock." Right fucking now.
