Do you not clean your floors? Do you step in mud and then just wear your shoes inside?

Because that sounds way grosser to me.

You'd probably have to, like, attach a mop to your ass to drag behind you in order for your house to keep clean at all times, though.

lol no. It stays perfectly clean with such magical devices as welcome mats and a shoe rack at the door (plus, if my shoes are really filthy or wet I take them off on the outside welcome mat before stepping into the entry way). I vacuum every 2-3 days, and the floors are washed every two weeks, or as needed if there is a spill.

The hardwood gets oil treated every 6 months or so, and that has the added benefit of not letting any stray specks get ground into the grain.

My SO actually gets really annoyed with how often I clean the floors, but dirt on them is my pet peeve. I won't stand for it, damn it.
