Cosplay.

I don't get the appeal at all and people who take it super seriously are hilarious to me. People who just wanna dick around at conventions in ill fitting costumes are alright tho. But honestly I can't believe how hardcore it is lol. You're playing dress up, calm your tits.

I'd agree that insane cosplay drama/competitiveness/pettiness is dumb, as a cosplayer. But you'd really rather people run around in ill-fitting costumes than costumes that fit? I'm a costumer, I make costumes as a hobby, not just for cosplay, but for theater events and such as well. I enjoy making costumes and modeling them, not to mention, meeting other fans of the things I love. Plus, photography is super fun and cosplay goes hand in hand with creative photography. I don't get the hate.
