I'm unemployed and have been diligently trying to find work for nearly two years now to no avail, and I agree that your friends are being jerks. Even though they have a lot of time to RP or raid doesn't mean that you do, and they should be reminded of that. Just don't use your employment status to insult or belittle them.

(For what it's worth, I play WoW and raid, but there are a number of employed people in our guild who spend way, way more time playing/raiding than I do, and I don't know how they manage it in between all their real-life stuff.)
