Well, I mentioned "obviously written by adults" because a lot of teens in media don't act (or look, a lot of the time) at all like real teens do, so it's pretty easy to imagine they're older than they really are! In cases where they actually act & look like real teens, I find it a little bit stranger.

My main problem with the "kids who are actually immortal" thing is that they very obviously resemble small children, and I'll always think it's skeevy to sexualize that? Personality doesn't make much a difference in this case! At the same time though, they're 2D fictional characters, so I'm judging them on about the same level as I'd judge anyone with fictional kinks I find incredibly weird. I don't believe that most people super into loli/shota are real-life pedophiles or anything like that, haha.
