I just skip to one bit and watch maybe 20-30 minutes and then turn it off when I don't have time to see the whole trilogy, but I know that approach isn't for everyone.

I can do that with some things, but for LotR I feel like I need to give myself time to feel the epicness of the story, in order to properly enjoy it.

I'm so with you there. I have to devote a whole weekend for re-watching the LotR movies, can't just watch them in small bits (and now I really want to re-watch them after reading all those secrets. *g*)
