If you have a twenty year old actor playing a sophomore in high school, I think it's a little odd if fandom starts griping about people sexualizing this character whereas I can totally understand if it were an underage actor playing an underage character.
But c'mon, you can't expect someone to draw a character that looks like an attractive adult, is voiced by someone who is 20-30 years old usually, and then many times have them not even interact with parents while giving them adult-like responsibilities and then expect people not to be attracted to them because they're not technically an "adult character."
