Um, the OP doesn't say anything about wanting it to be on tv? They say "in-canon" which could be in-canon for the manga. The earlier cruel stuff was never really discussed in the manga either.

(And they DID do it on TV, there was a YuGiOh anime before the regular one (it covered the story pre-Pegasus), which people refer to as Season 0 - they had lots of the manga stuff in that, but somewhat less harsh.)

Yep, I meant I wanted the characters, in the manga, to address his earlier insanity.

Don't know how the ayrt magically managed to read "I want to see the manga cruelty on tv" in my secret because I say nothing like that whatsoever.
