Re: LoTR and Middle Earth

The LoTR films came out when I was in high school so it basically introduced me into the nerd culture.
I really wish I could see some footage of Faramir and Eowyn getting married. I read somewhere that they had a wedding scene but it was ultimately cut out of the films. I know Faramir and Eowyn falling in love was kind of out of nowhere, but I do like how their romance is typical of most romances during wartime. A lot of young people fall in love quick since death is so near. IDK I also like how they spent time together in the Houses of Healing after both losing a father figure (I also like how Denethor is Faramir's actual father but has never really been a good father figure to Faramir and Theoden is Eowyn's uncle but has been a good father figure to her, nice contrasts). IDK I like their romance quite a bit. And individually, they're among my favorite characters.

I've always felt like I could identify with Sam the most, though I do wonder sometimes if I would have been able to have been as brave as him.
