This is honestly something I've been considering could happen for a while now, along with T'Challa making him a new vibranium arm at the end. But I'm not confident enough to think it's 100% atm it's just a theory.

I've heard that theory. I like it because then the T'Challa vs Bucky thing will be resolved, which I'd like to see. But I do like his current arm. I'm very conflicted about it. But if Tony's the one who did it and then Cap beats the crap out of him for it - that sounds hot.

Yeah it'd be cool if they were in good terms by the end, but even without that I am just damn curious to see how they interact in the movie as is. My other thought is that if the shot is correct Tony could be the one to make a new arm as well but idk, it's all a guessing game right now.
