I do find it funny that immediately after I said that Trump isn't going to suffer from his insanity because everyone is going to convince themselves he's reasonable, you called him a statesman

It's hard to say re: Clinton and Sanders. I think Sanders is stronger in New Hampshire, maybe marginally better in Iowa, but probably significantly weaker in Virginia so who knows if the trade-off is worth it. I think there's plenty of reasons for the right to hate whichever one gets the nomination, though, so in that sense it's rather immaterial.

I didn't call him a statesman. I said he would morph into one, or at least something resembling one, after securing the nomination, implying that he would be doing that to appeal to more people. It certainly doesn't mean I'm going to fucking vote for him. I'll thank you to read more carefully in the future.

I think it's fair to say that Trump and the rest of the GOP has almost completely lost the black, hispanic and Muslim vote -- which means huge chunks of the south, southwest and rust belt states could be up for grabs. As far as whether or not the Dem nominee is immaterial, I'm not sure. It's a big concern for me that a lot of Bern victims are claiming that if their savior doesn't get the nomination they're not going to vote, or worse vote Republican to "punish" America. Privileged white liberals having a tantrum, really; I'm voting Bernie but I don't care who wins as long as it's not the GOP.

This is my concern, too. Liberal/Democratic voters really should band together here.

I live in Iowa, so my state's primary's been well done for a while now, but yeah, I too am fine with either Bernie or Hilary getting the nomination, and will support whomever gets it.

No, that's not what I think at all, sugar cookie. I'm saying Trump is currently marketing himself as a xenophobic buffoon because he knows it will pull most of the GOP base to him, but when he gets the nomination he will pivot to a more dignified persona to appeal to "moderates" and other stupid people.

Most politicians don't do the buffoon act, because they want everyone to believe they're being rational.

You decided that Cruz is the one bad candidate in that election and therefore in your mind Trump must be fine and normal. It's a bizarre thing to conclude but all evidence is that you think Trump is the same as Romney or McCain or any other Republican.

I never said that he wasn't bad, oh my actual fuck. He is actively encouraging violence. That's pretty fucking bad. What you are completely and intentionally failing to comprehend is that Trump has a history of completely altering himself for marketing purposes. There is no real person under that wig and hasn't been for three decades. My point is that I am expecting him to pivot again to appeal to more people in a general election. Remember that he's repeatedly contradicted himself and gone back on things HE HIMSELF has said just days prior.

I'm not saying you support him. I'm saying that he's dangerous as hell however he appears, and I think emphasizing how normal he's going to appear after the nomination minimizes that fact, and I wish you wouldn't.
