Villian ships are awesome.

Mentors who lead their partner down even darker paths. Being domestic in the quieter moments between fucking with the hero. Crackier fic where the relationship is in a rut and they are trying to get their groove back by being evil. Seeing two people being so loving yet so damn creepy.

Plus, if you look at things like Star Trek mirror verse fic, being evil is apparently a good excuse to be kinky.

And yes, I agree. I don't ship all of them, but I do ship a bunch of villain ships. The dynamics just work for me. I love the idea of evil characters being awful to everyone else yet in love with each other.

I used to really be into villain-hero ships with villain redemption arcs, but now I'm finding I just like villains being villains more.

This is pretty much exactly me. I used to massively ship Hero/Villain ships (though all sorts of arcs). But now I'm mostly into villain ships instead, with one exception.

I blame wrestling for awakening my villain-villain shipping preferences. There are so many good villain characters that are a lot more fun that the heroes.

One of these days I'm going to watch some wrestling. It seems like something I'd enjoy.

I blame Tolkien. Although I always had some villain ships, I wasn't as obsessed with them until I got into the Tolkien fandom. And my shipping villain ships there has made me see the dynamic with other villains in things I like.

WELL, you just let me know the kind of things you like and I will def rec you some wrestling to get started with. Seth Rollins most consistently is the wrestler that seems to interest people and get them to stick around in the fandom. And, he's a villian (which we call an heel in wrestling)! Or, he was before he was injured. He could come back as a face (or baby-face, which is what we call the good guys).

Definitely villains. I've seen a lot of pictures of Roman Reins since a friend on Tumblr fancasts him as a character we both love. And he seems really hot. A nice build (I've seen some wrestlers that are so extremely muscled past the point that I'd find attractive)

Uh, yes, so, villains and just generally hot, barely clothed men wrestling with each other? I feel like these are things I would really love. I just don't know where to start.
