Re: Nintendo DS questions
I completely forgot that some Pokemon games were for the Advance. :/
Re: Nintendo DS questions
(Anonymous) 2016-03-13 09:12 pm (UTC)(link)Honestly, if you want to play the Advance games, you might be better off getting them on an emulator? Otherwise, I think Red and Blue are actually being re-released for the 3DS (not remade, so identical graphics and whatnot).
Re: Nintendo DS questions
The re-released are actually what made me think about getting a (3)DS! My old Red cartridge is unfortunately broken and I always wanted to play Blue.
Unless the 3DS offers any features that the 2DS doesn't (are there any 3DS exclusive games or are all playable on the 2DS?) I'll probably go with the 2DS. It's more in my price range and I hate 3D as well, lol.
Re: Nintendo DS questions
And as far as I know all 3DS games are 2DS-compatible, but I found the 2DS awkward to hold. It was designed for kids. 3DS XL and its New variation are gigantic and easier for me to hold, though I've no interest in buying one because the 3DS seems to be where they throw all the jRPGs and other games I don't care about these days.
(Wish Sony would have actually supported the Vita...)
