Oh, I know. Although Mrs. Bennet may have been the exception, compared to the one in the 1995 adaptation - which I love, BTW. But in that one Mrs. Bennet is basically freaking out for no reason, and just a few meltdowns short of being sent to an asylum. In the 2005 they got that she was legitimately worried they'd all be screwed over by Mr. Collins.

They missed the point with everything else, though.
