Why is "exhausting" the latest buzzword everyone wants to use to dismiss someone's opinions? Evey opinion one doesn't agree with must be "exhausting" to the person who holds it.

Examples:

"Isn't it exhausting to get so offended by everything" - in response to someone who was bothered by something the commenter deemed unworthy

"You actually think that? You must be exhausted"

No, as much as you may dislike someone's opinions (even if your dislike is totally justified and the opinions are crap!) - holding an opinion is not "exhausting."
