Are the newer AC games worth playing?

I kinda gave up on the Assassin's Creed series by AC3 (though I still bought Black Flag because pirates). Have the games since then been any good, or am I better off ignoring them?

I think Rogue is quite good, hate Unity and am pretty meh about Syndicate. I honestly just play the games because I feel I'm too far in them to quit now and only buy them when I find them on sale.
