(Anonymous) 2016-03-16 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
e.g. Hogwarts houses, D&D alignments, RPG/MMO character classes

They can be from books, games, movies, RPs, whatever.

WoW classes, Pokemon teams, what daemon would someone have, what sport would a character play, what subreddit would a person be obsessed with.

I love daemons. And I had an elaborate fantasy world that I developed in my head (and still think about from time to time) about if people IRL had a Pokemon for a "daemon", like which one people would have.

Dark Souls classes! There's so many to choose from, though admittedly most of them are for experts who know what they're doing and you're technically not bound to any class anyway.

I loved the idea of the school. I just wish writing had been one of the departments because that would have been the one I would most want to be in. Art is a close second though.

Basically all of them. Categories and lists are how my head works.

Pokemon types, YGO types and attributes, factions in every story everywhere, troll hemocastes in Homestuck, anything divided by traditional elements, alignments, Meyers-Briggs personalities, classic RPG classes and all their permeations, HP houses, Aiel clans and warrior societies from WoT, also Ajahs, weapons classes, alien races, you fucking name it

yeah
