So did you end up staying in the aggressor's POV the whole fic? I recall you saying that was what was weirding you out (as it does me as well when writing noncon).

Yup, I did. I found that what I need to do was breaks. So I asked for prompts and interspersed working on that fic with working on more happy things.

I still think it was best for the fic to stay in Mairon's POV, especially because he's the character I have the most firm headcanons about. So I knew what I thought he would be thinking, and plus he's very observant so it was possible for him to notice little reactions and realize what other characters were thinking. So I was actually able to make it broader than I would have if I'd written from the perspective of either of the other characters.
