I feel like you're being incredibly literal without any room for interpretation here.

It's not even a case of being 'incredibly literal'. Prejudice exists against predators in 'Zootopia' because they are being set up by a third party attempting to start a race war. The predators are 100% blameless. The metaphor falls apart when given even the slightest scrutiny.

It's like 'Elysium' where he have the rich in space hoarding all the resources while the Earth suffers as a metaphor for how the US handles things when in real life the US is dumping billions of dollars into foreign aid.
