I don't care. They used it for the trailer. About a new generation. We have three new people, one of which is heavily hinted at being a direct link for a new generation of Skywalkers (kylo is a solo as his mother never took the skywalker name).

Their marketing was clever, far more clever than the marketing for most anything else.

So, no, I did not combust my argument. And if I didn't jack about Star Wars, I wouldn't be here digging up all of the obvious parallels that sit there and debunk everything else BUT the Skywalker legacy.
