Could hardly tell you all my life's details. Suffice to say, I could afford it but would have not much money for much else. It'd be in a city that's fairly expensive. My question was more, for those who have had 1 bedrooms, did you think it was worth it.

nayrt I haven't shared an apartment since college, but I've also been lucky to get very good deals on apartments. I don't think it would be worth it if that's what all your budget's going to. But see if you have any friends-of-friends who are landlords; if they know who you are, they might be more willing to give you a better rate.
