I agree with this, to an extent. Certainly it's troubling when you have corporations attempting to buy politicians, and the Supreme Court upholding this as their right. And certainly the odds are stacked against small business owners. But to say that we do not have free market capitalism in America at ALL is a gross exaggeration.

Little co-ops in San Fran's Mission District do not really mean much in terms of the wider economic superstructure.

Small businesses collectively employ the most people in America.

And they're being utterly crushed by the corporate machine, aided by politicians (read: Republicans) who talk big about "small businesses" while writing legislation that enables corporations to squash them flat.
