Tolkien for sure. I guess it'd be cheating to count every manifestation of it but I'm doing it anyway, so I'm getting everything from The Silmarillion to the Hobbit movies to LOTR RPS.

I very well might be in this fandom for the rest of my life, so it's a more than reasonable choice.

This is how I feel. This fandom has everything I want, this fandom is my favorite to write and to read, and this fandom has some of the nicest people I've ever met. Honestly the Tolkien Tumblr fandom has done more for my self esteem than years of therapy.

That's really great! As much as I sometimes hate the fandom on Tumblr, I do remember a time (mid-2012) when I would constantly track the tag and lament that it wasn't more active. It's definitely better with more people involved, even if they bring the downside.

15 years is a long time to be emotionally invested in the same bunch of characters and stories, but here I am.
