Later than late, but you're barely a nerd to me if you claim you're a huuuuuuuge [insert thing here] nerd but are mostly interested in currently airing super popular stuff and never even try to dig deeper.

Also I have more respect for stereotypical basement dwelling neckbeards with encyclopedic knowledge of their media of choice than fair weather fans.

Yeah yeah, "ur not a reel nerd if u" elitism, but it blows trying to talk to a fellow fan when they're in their first 101 course and you got your doctorate.
