Agreed.

Of course then again my relationship with 99% of het shipping can be summed up with the Bob's Burgers reference

People: Don't they make a cute couple?!
Me: They're... certainly standing next to each other.

Like Zootopia was great since it was a man/women buddy cop friendship movie without the slightest hint of romance. And then I've had people argue with me on if them being a canon romantic couple is 'open to interpretation' or not.

And in my current fandom there's this one wacko who's convinced that the writers aren't able to come out and SAY these two heterosexual adult friends are married and have lots of babies together, but they sneak secret signals into the show for observant fans to decode. Like the one character owns a Ford, do you know who else owns a Ford? A married man from another show! Wake up sheeple, it's soooo obvious!
