Flgiht Rising

How do you guys price your dragons? I know I am selling mine for too cheap but i don't know how to price them.

If I am selling them in the Sales Forums, I generally try for around 30k (maybe a little higher if they have newer genes). But just in the AH? Really depends on how patient I am. Hatchlings generally only consistently sell for fodder price. I might try to put them higher, but that inevitably means it could take a few weeks to sell them. Older dragons I might go up to 20k or so, but yeah, it can be tough.

I always have to laugh a little at people who sell perfectly normal dragons for like 50k or more. I mean, hey, if they are successfully making deals, good for them, but I'd never buy a dragon for that price and I can't imagine they regularly sell.

...I sell all mine for less than 8k. Regardless of gems or matching colors or breed. O.O

Non-gemmed ones I almost always sell for 5k.

Non-gened ones definitely should go for 5k or less, because those ones are going to be fodder 100% of the time (unless they are Gen1). I mean, if it's an adult, you could try 8k - because then the buyer will train and exalt for more profit.

But yeah, 8k for gened hatchlings is pretty safe. I sometimes go that low myself, but generally I just will exalt myself if I can. I usually wait until they are at least adults, then maybe try selling for a little more, and if that doesn't work, exalt.

It depends on the colors and genes. My most valuable right now are my glimmer/butterfly ones which go for 200-400 gems. And my giraffe/hex ones which go for between 200 and 300 gems.

For my pretty doubles that have less valuable genes like iri/shimmer, I usually price them at 30 gems. Anything with glimmer is at least 50 and usually 80 to 100.

I price just above what I'd get to exalt them. So generally 15k. Unless they have a brand new gene, and then I price them just under the cheapest of others like them, as I don't want to tank the market for others. With the current glut of dragons, I don't feel like any dragons are really worth over 100k unless they are unique in some way (low ID, gen one with nice colors, level 25, etc), so I don't ask for much, but I also could make money exalting them and don't want to lose what I could get there. I figure if someone wants my 15k dragon, that's 15 minutes in the fairgrounds or three exalts. Which seems reasonable to me.

I find that doubles or triples of certain colors with glimmer and/or butterfly can get 100 gems or more. But that's about it. Everything else is less than that.
