It is pretty good. I would say that it isn't quite as good as the Revenge of the Sith novelization which is excellent and better than the movie in nearly every way. But it is quite good and expands on some stuff in helpful ways.

I do too. It is up there in my top 10 favorite Star Wars books. I actually like the movie, but the book improves it so much. One of my favorite scenes is the one where the Jedi confront Palpatine, and he is clearly playing them. It helps show why the galaxy would go along with the Jedi being wiped out.
