You've got it! Well, except that this is the cheapest insurance option I could have. I could be paying twice what I am now and then paying $50-$75 copays per doctor visit, which was the other insurance option I had.

The healthcare system is definitely a mess. Although I actually wouldn't even mind paying for the health care if I made a living wage, so there is that aspect too. (I just got notification that after working for the same company for a decade continuously and almost 14 years in total that my hourly rate was going up because of the increase in minimum wage in New York State meaning they now had to pay me the new minimum for someone with my education level. Yay?)
