It does and it is. The problem with the multi-label phenomenon is that it's white noise. When people are still busting their asses to achieve basic civil rights, it's frustrating to see the issues devolve into making sure that every stray thought or feeling that a human could have is assigned a twee name and an identity checkbox. It's a distraction and trivializes the efforts of people who are trying to make life outside of tumblr more liveable.

Also, it's precious as fuck.

So you have an issue that isn't actually "sick of the kreeeative ways people label themselves" because that makes it sound like your only problem is you don't like it and want to police how people label themselves.

The issue you bring up makes sense, though I have to wonder how big of a force that actually is outside of tumblr.
