The last time I posted about my mother on this site, commenters compared her to Petunia Dursley. (Personally, I think she's like Cathy Guisewite, but the difference can be slim.) She does have a concept of how to joke with people, but she always uses a "kidding" voice and makes it clear she's not serious. I don't think she could prank someone if she tried.
