Mark was so supremely dull; I wish I could forget he existed.

I'm not even halfway through season 1 (never seen Parks and Rec before) and I already wish Mark would go away.

Me too. I liked Mark, in season 2 especially. I never really quite understood why he got all the blame for the show's growing pains. Ann/Chris just seemed...expected and so it was boring to me.

I don't know, I kind of liked the resolution of their relationship being that Ann was just not that into him. It felt pretty real.

And I liked Ann/Chris UNTIL he dumped her. They never regained the chemistry after that. I don't think Ann/Chris would have been endgame if it were not for the actors wanting to leave. I always felt like Ann was going to end up with some new character if she had stuck around.

I agree. I was kind of bummed that Mark never diasppeared because he never got the chance to be fleshed out, and so the finger remained on him for the shows problems for some reason.

I'm not a big fan of Ann/Chris because there was a really good reason why their relationship didn't work out the first time (though people do grow and change, and Ann became more resistent to chameleoning to her new boyfriends so it's not that bad) but Mark was just so boring.
