Hilary is not going to nominate John Roberts Jr or anything of the sort, you paranoid loony. It would not make a lick of sense. It would contradict everything she's ever said, destroying her standing with the Democratic base, without benefitting her one iota with either Wall Street (which wouldn't care about social issues) or Republicans (who would still oppose her no matter what). She wouldn't do it because of corruption. The only reason she would do it is if she is a captain planet villain committed to evil for evil's sake. Jesus Christ.

You didn't read what was written, did you? She is so focused on getting a pro-Wall Streeter on the bench that she might just take it as read that they'd also fall in line with other political beliefs and not scrutinize them like she ought to. That sort of arrogance and assumption that people automatically agree with her is one of the defining hallmarks of her personality. The trouble is that that person, while not a frothing raving right-winger, might harbor personal beliefs that are much more conservative than hers. That is a valid fear. Her eye is on the money ball, not the LGBT ball and that opens the door to mistake happening.

A) supreme Court nominations are the most analyzed, scrupulous, important political thing that exists. No president since 1992 is going to appoint a justice if they don't know where said justice stands on eg a right to privacy.

B) there a million justices out there who can be as corporate friendly as you like while still being okay with gay people. It's not like Clinton is going to have a dearth of choices.

I mean i dont agree with your assessment of Clinton but even within those bounds your argument is still bad.

But because her eye is not on LGBT rights as a primary goal, then it doesn't matter how many pro-wall streeters are also pro-lgbt as long as someone who is personally anti-lgbt can make a convincing pro-wall street case. That door is still open, and Hillary has a knack of falling into situations where she focuses on one thing so much she screws up everything else. That worries me on a far more personal level than anything else. SHe is politically accident prone and I'd rather not end up losing rights if she has another one of her accidents.

Unless you are black then your rights don't mean shit in the Democratic race. For once the black man has the whip hand, and will show that the black man can shut down the white man in this race.

Hillary is not a robot who is only capable of focusing on one thing. I mean Jesus, accident-prone is one thing, but she would have to be, like, the most incompetent politician since literally fucking Warren Harding to accidentally install someone to the right of Tony Kennedy.

Not consistently to the right, but with a blind spot on one or two important issues, sure that is within the realms of possibility when she doesn't have it as a priority. He or she could be very left wing (hahahahah, no really) on other matters, and centerist on Wall Street issues, and they will be a centerist on Wall Street issues if nothing else, but be off message on LGBT rights. That is especially vulnerable right now since the political narrative is that the gays won, and T*s are so statistically negligible they don't really need widespread protections. Yes, it is a valid worry for a politician like Hillary.
