All kinds of protections are getting blocked here

This bill requires various protections to be passed at the state level and disallows individual cities from passing other protections. Since weaker protections would be overwritten by state rules anyway, all this does is keep cities from protecting people further. Affected groups include minimum-wage workers, child workers, military veterans, and absolutely anyone subject to "discrimination" laws. It also conflicts with Title IX, but that's probably gonna go all the way to the Supreme Court.
