I want a fucking DETECTIVE Batman, not 'punch everything in the face with increasingly cooler toys' Batman so, it'd probably be a more on-point version of something like The Long Halloween if we were going familiar.

Unfamiliar, I'd like to see him and Gordon working on street crime from different angles, with Gordon's cops going increasingly more corrupt and violent while Bats looks for the source. Maybe introduce Barbara 'Oracle' Gordon.

I would LOVE a more detective Batman. It would work so well as a TV series. A police procedural style thing with Batman and the rest of the Batman cast. That would be amazing.
